تنطلق في العاشر من أكتوبر المقبل فعاليات سمبوزيوم مراكب الشمس الدولي (Sun Boats Exhibitions) في نسخته الخامسة، بفندق رجينسي براميزا المطل على أهرامات الجيزة، بمشاركة ٣٥ فنانًا من ٢٥ دولة من مختلف قارات العالم، من بينها: مصر، المغرب، السعودية، لبنان، العراق، الشارقة، الأرجنتين، إسبانيا، فرنسا، الولايات المتحدة، ألمانيا، إنجلترا، وإيطاليا وغيرها.
ويقام الملتقى على مدار أسبوع كامل، يتضمن ورشة رسم عالمية، وزيارات ميدانية للمتحف المصري الكبير والأهرامات، ويُختتم بمعرض ضخم في دار الأوبرا المصرية بحضور سفراء وممثلين للدول المشاركة.
ويأتي الملتقى تماشيًا مع رؤية الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي بدور القوى الناعمة في دعم الاستقرار والتنمية المستدامة وتعزيز السياحة الفنية والثقافية.
وأكد الفنان إسماعيل بكر، منظم المهرجان، أن الملتقى يهدف إلى توظيف الفنون كأداة لنشر السلام وبناء الوعي الثقافي العالمي. فيما صرح عمرو إسماعيل، مدير Sun Boats Exhibitions، أن هناك خطة للترويج لمصر عالميًا عبر فعاليات فنية متنوعة داخل وخارج البلاد.
ومن جانبه، أشار وسام لويس، الخبير السياحي وأحد المنظمين، إلى أن “هذه الدورة تتميز بزخم كبير بمشاركة فنانين من جميع القارات، بما يسهم في تنشيط السياحة الفنية التي يفتقدها السوق المصري.”
Sun Boats International Symposium: 35 Artists from 25 Countries Gather in Cairo Under the Theme “Art as a Soft Power for Tourism and Sustainable Development”
On October 10, the Sun Boats International Symposium (Sun Boats Exhibitions) will launch its fifth edition at Regency Pyramisa Hotel, overlooking the Giza Pyramids. The event will feature 35 artists from 25 countries across all continents, including Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Iraq, Sharjah, Argentina, Spain, France, the United States, Germany, England, Italy, and more.
The week-long program will include a global painting workshop, field visits to the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza Pyramids, and will conclude with a major exhibition at the Egyptian Opera House, attended by ambassadors and cultural representatives.
The symposium reflects President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s vision of utilizing soft power to promote stability, sustainable development, and cultural tourism.
Artist Ismail Bakr, organizer of the event, highlighted that the symposium aims to employ the arts as a tool for peace and global cultural awareness. Amr Ismail, Director of Sun Boats Exhibitions, emphasized a strategic plan to promote Egypt internationally through a series of cultural and artistic events at home and abroad.
Tourism expert Wissam Louis, one of the organizers, added: “This edition carries great momentum with artists from all continents, aiming to boost art tourism — a sector still underdeveloped in the Egyptian tourism market.”
